Many people don't like the 12string guitar because it's not easy to play.
Especially barre chords are a real pain in the ass :-(.
Well, a couple of years ago i received a 12string guitar from my kinfolk.
At first i did not know how to handle this guitar, but by and by i developed methods and techniques to handle it, and now it's my favorite guitar.
Fingerpicking 12 strings at the same time is quite fun - if you practise a lot.
